Cancellation Policy and a Legal Disclaimer.

1. 🗓️ Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

This policy establishes guidelines for managing appointments and fees.

We understand that life can bring unexpected changes. We strive to be flexible while also valuing our time and commitment to scheduled sessions.

Client Cancellations (24+ Hours Notice): If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Your deposit (if applicable) or full payment will be refunded, or we can apply it to a future booking.

Late Cancellations (Less than 24 Hours Notice): Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time will forfeit the $50 booking fee or 50% of the session cost, whichever is greater, as compensation for the lost appointment slot.

No-Shows: If a client misses an appointment without any prior notification, the client will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. Future bookings may require full prepayment.

Investigator/Practitioner Cancellation: In the unlikely event that we must cancel, you will be notified immediately, and you will receive a 100% refund of any payment made, or the option to reschedule at a discounted rate for the inconvenience.

Travel fees apply to all services requiring an in-person visit, primarily Paranormal Investigations and Spiritual Space Cleansings. Our base prices cover travel time and costs within a specific radius of our office/primary location.

 

Distance from Base Location Fee Structure Details

Zone 1: 0 - 25 Miles No Charge Travel within this radius is included in the base service price.

Zone 2: 26 - 50 Miles $50 Flat Fee A flat rate applied to cover fuel and extended travel time.

Zone 3: 51 - 100 Miles $100 Flat Fee Covers significant travel time and round-trip fuel costs.

Zone 4: Over 100 Miles Custom Quote Required For locations over 100 miles, a custom quote will be provided based on current gas prices, tolls, and potential overnight accommodation expenses (if necessary).

Important Notes:

Calculation: Distance is calculated using the shortest standard driving route (Google Maps/GPS) from [Nanaimo, BC] to the client's location.

Quote Confirmation: For Zones 3 and 4, the exact travel fee will be communicated to the client and must be agreed upon before the investigation date.

Virtual Alternative: Clients located far outside Zone 1 are encouraged to consider a Virtual Consultation or Remote Cleansing if the service type allows for it, to avoid travel.
